When MMA superstar Ronda Rousey needed a custom wedding band—crafted with precision and delivered on a tight timeline—her fiancé Travis Browne turned to an unexpected destination: Boise, Idaho.
That’s where he found The Diamond Girls, a luxury jewelry studio led by GIA-trained jewelers Lisa Zimowsky and Natalie Piccola, known for designing one-of-a-kind engagement rings and wedding bands.
Designing a Celebrity Wedding Ring Under Pressure
Piccola and Zimowsky collaborated closely with Browne to design and handcraft both Rousey’s engagement ring and wedding band, each custom-made to reflect timeless design with modern elegance.
“We joked that if we didn’t get the ring there in time, we’d be wedding crashers in Hawaii,” Piccola says. “There was no way we weren’t going to make it happen.”
With final design decisions coming together late in the process, the Diamond Girls moved into high gear. The rose-gold wedding band was completed and shipped overnight, arriving just one day before the ceremony. Rousey and Browne were married August 26 in Hawaii.
From Boise to the World Stage
Browne was introduced to The Diamond Girls through a personal recommendation and flew to Boise to work directly with the jewelers on Rousey’s engagement ring—a rose gold design featuring a 3-carat cushion-cut diamond, framed by a halo of accent diamonds.
The collaboration was built on trust, craftsmanship, and personal connection.
“He was incredibly grateful for the hustle,” Piccola says. “And when he saw the final pieces, he was over the moon. He genuinely loved the rings.”
